Each piece is hand-waxed and individually damaged in our studio, creating a lived-in tension between protection and decay. No two jackets are identical. The silhouette is controlled and architectural, sitting slightly boxy to allow for layering. A front flap pocket system integrates utility without excess, while reflective tape inserts introduce subtle visibility — a quiet technical interruption against matte black. Hardware is entirely custom: hook closure system, logo press snaps, and a Japanese-made custom buckle engineered specifically for this garment. The main closure is finished with a YKK Excella #5 zip — chosen for its precision, weight, and longevity. Inside, a camo lining detail disrupts the exterior uniformity — an internal signal within an otherwise disciplined shell. Black here is not seasonal. It is functional.
